National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms launches her campaign (Tales Of The Grandma Amna) To enable women to enjoy their political and civil rights
The Women’s Rights Unit of the National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms launched its electronic campaign “Grandma’s Stories is Safe” in order to raise awareness among women of its legal mechanisms, including national legislation and international agreements related to women.
Women are an essential partner in society and an integral part of ambitious future plans to support and reform development and human rights files in the coming periods. One of the most important requirements of our current era is that the pillars of equality and the principles of democracy be spread and that all forms of violence and discrimination among all human beings be eliminated; Therefore, in the interest of the National Society for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms, and in our awareness of the importance of the role of women in building society, we have launched a campaign (Grandma’s Tales is Safe) to receive complaints from women who are subjected to any kind of violence or discrimination in society and to consider national legislation and international agreements now available to protect the rights of women We will work to spread awareness of rights and duties by re-publishing the principles of all international conventions relating to women and raising women’s awareness of their rights and working to develop intellectual and collective awareness of women and their intellectual rehabilitation To contribute to a society with broader horizons.
And our belief in finding a secret and safe way that allows women to express their opinions and ideas to change the stereotyped image in Egyptian society of women’s rights; Therefore, the National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms launches its electronic campaign (Grandma’s Stories is Safe) to allow women to participate positively in changing the status of women within Egyptian society. To work positively through the United Nations mechanisms, which always discuss the situation of women in the world, and we aim for our participation in all sessions and sessions that discuss women’s issues.
Therefore, in conjunction with the direction of the Egyptian state to clearly give women the large space to be present in public work, especially after the recent decisions that allowed women to take up the judiciary platforms, and to occupy many positions that were denied them for long periods and the large presence in parliament, and an affirmation of our appreciation for these Positive steps, we are looking forward to more reform steps that women need to participate positively in reforming the outstanding issues in their endeavor to narrow the large gap between women and their societies and try to change the customs and legacies that hinder the presence of women in their natural place.
