Egypt Renews its Historical Commitment to Confronting Israeli Arrogance and Defending Palestinian and Arab Rights

The National Society for Defending Rights and Freedoms is following with great interest the outcomes of the Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha, which marked a turning point in reshaping the unified Arab and Islamic position on the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation and its grave violations of human rights and international law.
The Society affirms that the speech of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s pivotal and leading role in protecting Palestinian rights, safeguarding the sovereignty of Arab states, and confronting the occupation’s attempts to ignite conflicts in the region through systematic policies aimed at destabilizing and establishing a fait accompli at the expense of justice and international legitimacy.
The Egyptian speech at the summit delivered a decisive message to the international community that the rights of the Palestinian people are inalienable and that ignoring these rights constitutes a serious violation of international law and a direct threat to international peace and security. The speech also conveyed a clear warning that Israeli arrogance will no longer be met with silence, but rather with firm positions and escalating pressure from Arab, Islamic, and international actors in defense of human rights and the protection of international legitimacy.
The Society emphasizes that a solution The two-state solution is not a selective political choice, but rather a legal and historical entitlement that represents the essence of justice and a fundamental condition for ending the conflict. Any attempts to undermine or circumvent it constitute an international crime that requires accountability and accountability. Based on the vision expressed in the Egyptian speech, the Association emphasizes the following points:
1. Calm and End Aggression: The necessity of continuing joint Egyptian-Qatari efforts to establish an immediate calm and halt all forms of Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people.
2. Building an International Pressure Mechanism: Striving to form a human rights and political front that includes partners in the free world who believe in the historical rights of the Palestinian people to exert real pressure on the occupation and end impunity.
3. Besieging the occupation internationally: Demanding the imposition of deterrent international sanctions on the Israeli occupation due to its grave violations, and considering its practices as crimes against humanity under international law.
4. Reforming the international system: Calling for a unified Arab and Islamic effort to restructure the Security Council’s working mechanisms and break the veto power that hinders the protection of Palestinian rights and perpetuates double standards.
5. Strengthening Human Rights Solidarity: Mobilizing the efforts of human rights organizations and civil society worldwide to document violations. And the prosecution of Israeli war criminals before international courts.
The National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms expresses its deep pride in Egypt’s clear and firm stance, and considers it a model to be emulated in combining national responsibility with an international commitment to protecting the rights of peoples. It also calls on all active forces to unite ranks and intensify pressure on the Israeli occupation, as this is the only way to stop the ongoing bloodshed and protect the future and security of the region.
