The United Nations follows in the footsteps of the League of Nations

Civilians in Gaza pay the price for the failure of the United Nations mechanisms
The undersigned organizations express their condemnation of all the bloody practices carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian Rafah, over the past few months, which have increased in brutality in the large massacre in the camps for the displaced in the Barakasat area west of Rafah after the occupation warplanes bombed the camp with two missiles in a flagrant violation of all principles of human rights and international charters and covenants, and amidst the complete failure of the international community, and strong support from the United States of America for the Israeli massacres and disrespect for the binding decisions of the International Court of Justice that Israel must immediately stop its military attack on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip and open the crossing to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Strip, as well as ensuring the arrival of any investigation or fact-finding committee regarding the charge of genocide, and above all, the United Nations standing by as a spectator, especially the statements made by its Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the necessity for Israel to immediately cease fire Which is nothing more than just talk.

The Israeli side is trying in every way to evade any binding agreement after the consultations and talks adopted by the Egyptian and Qatari governments in order to cease fire and immediately withdraw any military movements towards the defenseless civilians in Gaza, but the Israeli side is stubborn in respecting the decisions and talks that aim to calm down and not escalate unjustified and their continuous attempts to provoke the Egyptian side continuously, which threatens great dangers for the region, the latest of which was the martyrdom of an Egyptian soldier after being shot by the Israeli side occupying the Philadephia axis west of Palestinian Rafah.

The signatories to the statement demand that the United Nations restructure the mechanisms of the United Nations in order to protect civilians in times of conflict and that the United Nations resolutions have a positive impact in stopping wars and protecting civilians in times of armed conflict and restructuring the work of the Security Council, specifically the right of veto, which has now become a weapon in the hands of war criminals with clear support from the American administration that uses its right to object to decisions that force Israel to withdraw from violating human rights. A new system must be re-established that does not give the right to one side to stop the UN intervention operations to protect civilians.
We also emphasize that the failure of the United Nations to stop Israeli arrogance and its repeated violations against the people of Gaza reminds us of the League of Nations that ended and collapsed after the outbreak of World War II, and we may reach the same result after this disastrous failure.
The organizations signing this statement demand that the governments of the countries suspend their membership in the United Nations until the United Nations is restructured, specifically the Security Council, and the objection system for the five permanent member states (the right to veto) is changed, and clear democratic rules for voting are established within the Security Council that cannot give the right to a single country to exhaust the mechanisms of the United Nations for narrow political interests in favor of an entity that continues to violate all human rights mechanisms with clear support from the United States to exterminate the people of Gaza, the indigenous people of this region, bringing to mind the crimes that occurred and continue to occur against the Red Indians, the indigenous people of the United States of America. We also call on all countries to support the mediation efforts for the truce led by the Egyptian government in order to cease fire and the withdrawal of the Israeli side from all the territories of Gaza and the West Bank and return to the negotiating table as soon as possible and open the Rafah crossing without restrictions in order to bring food and medical aid into Gaza and return petroleum and electricity materials and restore the efficiency of hospitals that were bombed and stormed more than once.
