The National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms Officially Joins the Education Defenders Network (EDN)
The National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms announces its official membership in the Education Defenders Network (EDN), becoming the only Egyptian organization within this international network. EDN comprises a select group of human rights and educational institutions and organizations from around the world, all dedicated to promoting educational equity and defending the right to education as a fundamental right guaranteed by international conventions.
This membership reflects the Association’s ongoing commitment to building partnerships and expanding international cooperation, thereby enhancing its ability to engage with global expertise and exchange knowledge and best practices in the field of rights and freedoms, particularly those related to the right to education, equality, equal opportunities, and sustainable development.
The Association affirms that this step represents a strategic development in its human rights work, aiming to strengthen its presence on the international stage and participate in global initiatives focused on developing equitable education policies. It also allows the Association to stay abreast of the latest international practices in education, development, and empowerment.

The National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms reiterates that engaging in global human rights networks is a key aspect of developing civil society work and contributes to building effective international partnerships, exchanging expertise, and strengthening human solidarity to uphold human dignity and enshrine the right to education as an inherent right for every human being.
