In an important step, the National Association for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms (NADRF), based in “Egypt” and the Paradigm International Organization for Strategic Studies, headquartered in “Geneva – Switzerland” signed a joint cooperation agreement between the two parties in the presence of a large number of public figures in Europe, Africa and Asia through the virtual program “Zoom”. For example: Prof. Dr. Kassem Bilal, Vice-President of the Mediterranean Parliament, Dr. Malik Nasr, President of the American University for Research and Development in Washington, Ms. Lorraine Miche, former President of Lyon Model Organization in France, Ms. Gladys Makbouri, President of Ravin Organization in Kenya, Mr. Mbuji Brinsley, President of an organization in Cameroon, Mr. Nabil Shalabi, from the National Council for Human Rights, Mr. Kassem Istanbouli, President of Tira Organization in Lebanon, in addition to a large number of members of NADRF, researchers and university professors Members of the Paradigm International Center for Strategic Studies.
The ceremony was moderated by Mr. Osman Ali, the International Relations Officer of NADRF, who welcomed the guests and gave an overview of NADRF, its activities and history, and gave another overview of the Paradigm International Center for Strategic Studies and its work and introduced his ideas, then gave words to the representatives of the two organizations.
The speech of Mr. Walid Farouk, President of NADRF and its representative in the signing, about the importance of signing a joint cooperation agreement with an organization that represents a large expert house in the field of research and studies, especially since Paradigm Center is full of scientific and research competencies for a large number of professors and experts of different nationalities, which It provides the opportunity for NADRF to obtain this expertise to develop its mechanisms and determine its priorities in the coming periods.
He added that it is an important step for NADRF to help develop its work, especially at the international level, and to engage in its tasks in international organizations: such as the International Council for Human Rights in Geneva, or the Committee on the Status of Women in New York Or the CEDAW Committee, precisely because NADRF holds a special advisory status from the United Nations, and the emphasis on fruitful cooperation in the issuance of accurate scientific studies, as we have already started working on a study that will appear to light within hours, and it is one of the important studies at this time, It was important to make use of the mighty expertise of the Paradigm Foundation in preparing the study, auditing it and rooting its sources at the request of the International Society, and with this cooperation much of studies will be in your hands soon.
Mr. Mazen Bakri, Vice President of Paradigm International Organization for Strategic Studies and representative of the signing of the joint cooperation agreement, spoke of its great contribution to supporting initiatives that enhance human dignity and the exchange of experiences and knowledge, through which the two parties participate in the development of national strategies that support national belonging and raise the status of human beings in it. Science, action and thought, based on a culture of dialogue and nonviolent communication, and the use of objective means to address crises. Moreover, this agreement simply represents an initiative that can be developed and expanded, as through it the idea of cooperation between civil society institutions and regional and international organizations is strengthened as an effective strategy that contributes to change for the better, and we hope for that.
The ceremony ended with the signing ceremony between representatives of NADRF and Paradigm International Organization for Strategic Studies, where the joint cooperation agreement became a reality, and the first production of which will be a research study that will come to light within hours, and we will announce the date of its issuance in due course.
